Returns & Exchanges
We want your shopping experience to be as enjoyable and seamless as possible, if you wish to return or exchange an item please contact our team at hello@pompeiihome.co and one of our team members will advise you on how to manage this.
Any return or Exchange will be subject to our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Pompeii Home is bound by New Zealand consumer law and will process all returns and refunds in line with these laws.
Exchange is welcome within 7 days of receiving your order. If you would like to exchange your order please contact us strictly within this timeframe to ensure we can assist you. Additional freight charges will be incurred in order to provide an exchange.
Our furniture and art pieces are fragile and heavy and can easily be damaged in transit. It will be the senders responsibility to ensure the item is returned in undamaged condition.
We offer refunds and returns within 30 days of receiving your order. If your object is faulty at the fault of Pompeii, we will happily organise a replacement or full refund of your purchase. Evidence of this will be required.
For returns based on a change of mind, the customer will be required to pay for any additional freight charges to return the product to Pompeii. Pompeii will refund the full cost of the product once it has been received in perfect condition with no signs of wear or damage.
Please choose carefully as we do not offer refund if you change your mind or make a wrong selection.
Once your order is confirmed, meaning you have either paid in full or made your first Afterpay installment, the order can no longer be cancelled. If you cancel your order you agree to the following:
(a) In the case of a stocked item product, which is a product that has not been customised, you will be refunded in full for the value of the product less a 20% restocking fee to cover Pompeii Home’s administrative costs and expenses incurred in handling and cancelling the order.
(b) In the case of a customised product which is any item that has been tailored specifically for you as a customer, you will forfeit 55% of the full amount of the product purchased.
(c) You will have no further claim to the cancelled product.
All custom, sale and discounted items are final sale. Pompeii Home does not allow cancellations of orders, returns, refunds or exchanges on ex-rental product, clearance product or floor stock product. All ex-rental and floor stock products are bought in the condition they are displayed in.
