Although many of us prefer not to burn these small pieces of artwork, if you do, here are some tips:
1. Place your candle on a flat dish or candle plate that will collect any wax that may drip.
2. Once candle is blown out, let any wax that has dripped harden before moving the candle. Do not touch any hot or soft wax. Once the wax has hardened, it will easily break off the surface.
3. We recommend trimming the wick 2-3cm from the surface of the wax
before each use.4. Burn your candle between 30 mins to 1 hour each time. Pompeii candles are peculiar in shape, meaning the burn time may vary between 3 - 15 hours.
Safety
1. Do not burn for long periods of time. We recommend burning for 1 hour max.
2. Place your candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources when not in use.
3. Keep candle clear from flammable objects.
4. Never leave burning candle unattended.
5. Do no burn your candle on top of any unsafe surfaces.
