Inside Courtney & Sam’s First Home: A New Chapter in Design
A home begins long before it feels finished.
It takes shape slowly—through materials collected over time, objects chosen with intention, and the atmosphere created within the spaces we return to every day. Recently featured by Flooring Xtra, Courtney and Sam’s first home reflects a calm, considered approach to modern living—one grounded in warmth, texture, and thoughtful design.
Rather than following trends, the home focuses on creating balance: sculptural forms softened by natural materials, clean lines layered with warmth, and spaces designed to feel both elevated and lived in.
The living room sits at the heart of the home, anchored by the beautiful Sandringham Rug by Baya Living. Its soft natural tones establish the palette for the entire space, where warm wood, marble, and tactile textiles create an atmosphere that feels quiet and inviting.
At the centre of the room sits the Viola Duo Coffee Table, styled with a collection of objects designed to bring texture and atmosphere into the space. Pompeii Home marble incense holders, ceramic bowls, and an abstract art print sit alongside the recently launched Chrome Candle collection and matching chrome lighter case—reflective pieces that add a sculptural contrast against the softer organic finishes throughout the room.
The result is a space that feels layered yet restrained, where each object contributes to the overall mood rather than competing for attention.
The bedroom continues this softer approach to design. Styled with the Giulia Side Table, the space leans into simplicity and warmth, creating a sense of calm through tonal layering and subtle materiality. Underfoot, the Bremworth Haru Collection carpet adds softness and texture, reinforcing the home’s overall feeling of comfort and quiet luxury.
Rather than over-styling the space, the focus remains on creating an environment that feels restful, balanced, and timeless.
In the home office, functionality meets design through the Enzo Desk—one of Pompeii Home’s newer releases and a piece that quickly became central to the room. Clean-lined yet warm in its presence, the desk was designed to bring a more elevated approach to everyday workspaces.
The office reflects the same philosophy seen throughout the rest of the home: practical pieces chosen not only for how they function, but for how they shape the atmosphere of a room.
What makes Courtney and Sam’s home feel so compelling is not a single statement piece, but the way each element works together. Natural materials, sculptural forms, soft textures, and thoughtful objects combine to create spaces that feel calm, intentional, and deeply personal.
It’s a home still evolving—and perhaps that’s what makes it feel the most beautiful.
